What if I am worried about being at risk when cleaning a facility?

We understand this is a difficult time and people are very worried about the virus and how it is spread. From what we know, the coronavirus is primarily airborne. As long as you are following your training, safety precautions and using your PPE correctly, you should be protected. However, if you feel strongly about being uncomfortable, please notify your supervisor immediately and he or she will work with you on a solution.

What do I do if my work has stopped temporarily because my facility closed?

We want to keep you working. In some locations, stores, restaurants and businesses have closed. This is primarily due to orders from state or local government. Unfortunately, when businesses close our work typically declines. However, in some locations, where businesses have remained open, our work has increased with more frequent services like deep cleaning and additional cleanings of high touch areas. In those places, we have seen more opportunity for work. If your work has stopped, please stay in touch with your supervisor so we can move you to another facility where there is work.

I have friends who are out of work, do we have openings? If so, how do they apply for a job?

Yes, we have openings. We are working hard to get as many people working as we possibly can. If you’d like to refer someone, please put them in touch with your supervisor, or refer them to the main www.KBS-services.com website.

What do I do if I think have coronavirus and I can’t get tested?

If you cannot be seen by a physician you will likely need to self quarantine for 14 days. We will work with you as it also depends on what state you’re in. Please call or email Rose Sosa, Health & Safety Lead (COVID-19) at 1-760-529-8229 or rosamaria.sosa@kbs-services.com.
